I came across this saying on TikTok and all of the sudden, it struck me strongly: “You will never know the value of a moment until it becomes memories”.

Instantly, my film camera popped up in my mind, a reminder of memories. Unlike the endless scroll of digital photos, each frame on film is precious, a limited 36 chances. Then, the long wait, the excitement while the film develops, a slow burn of hope runs through my body, making it more valuable. Many people question the expense, the time wasted but they don’t understand. They don’t feel the thrill of the unknown, the vulnerable excitement of waiting to see what you’ve captured.

I bought my film camera seeking that very feeling -the raw, unfiltered joy of receiving tangible memories. Even the most mundane moments, those ordinary slices of life, are transformed into something sacred on film. Before, I merely existed within moments, letting them slip through my fingers. Now, with each click of the shutter, I’m holding onto something real. Each shot is an act of preservation, a promise to remember. There’s a soul in these film photos, a depth of emotion that digital perfection can never touch. It’s not just a picture; it’s a feeling, a whisper of a moment, a tangible piece of my heart.”

My first three rolls of film are dedicated to the most incredible people in my life, those who support me unconditionally, always and everywhere. It captured my family, especially my little brother, whom I will cherish forever.
